I created Sympnoia in 2020 to better connect Senior Citizens to younger generations via phone calls to prevent elderly social isolation. In my calls I am happy to talk about art, movies, the medical field, animals, and more! I hope that Sympnoia helps Seniors feel joy through a conntection to younger generations. Together is a better place to be!

Hello all, my name is Devon Shatzman and I am a Junior at Cornell University studying biology and society with concentrations in education and infectious disease. At school, I am currently on the premed track with dreams of becoming a physician. Although, I am excited to pursue some other hobbies like volunteering at my local fire department’s emergency medical service (EMS) group as well as take painting at sculpture classes at school.
